Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect, the new locked room mystery from bestselling author Benjamin Stevenson is a fun page-turner. We highly recommend it to cozy mystery fans.
Stevenson has previously written Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone with its rights acquired by HBO. The new book is very similar in tone compared to previous installment: a crime-writing festival aboard a famous train turns deadly and it’s up to a group of mystery writers, agents, editors, and fans to find the culprit. But how can you find a killer when all the suspects know how to get away with murder?
We liked the idea of a mystery festival as the backdrop for the story and thought the use of first-person point of view made the narrative more engaging. Stevenson is a talented author and we’d love to read from from him.
Those readers looking to sample Australian crime fiction or try a fresh cozy mystery will enjoy this title.

Synopsis for previous book: Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone
Everyone in my family has killed someone. Some of us, the high achievers, have killed more than once. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but it is the truth. Some of us are good, others are bad, and some just unfortunate.
I’m Ernest Cunningham. Call me Ern or Ernie. I wish I’d killed whoever decided our family reunion should be at a ski resort, but it’s a little more complicated than that.
Have I killed someone? Yes. I have.
Who was it? Let’s get started.
