Chicago born filmmaker Jack Martin has been telling larger-than-life stories since the age of eight. His ambitions broke barriers early on when he attended USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and was selected to direct two Senior Thesis projects: his short film Bye Bye Bernard and the web-series My Friend D-Rone, which was produced for Ron Howard & Brian Grazer’s New Form Digital. In the last five years, Jack has worked on a number of big budget projects, including The Lion King, Godzilla vs Kong, and Pacific Rim 2.
His most recent short Sci-Fi Thriller, Manhunt, screened at festivals all across the world and was a 2019 Film Pipeline Finalist. The feature version is one of a dozen Feature & Television projects Jack has in development, including a 90s family adventure film in development with Mandalay Pictures. He’s currently shooting his first feature film, BOLT FROM THE BLUE, up in Alaska. No matter the story, Jack is always looking to capture the child in all of us.
